I don't see a win for either IRE or ENG but do think that England could surprise. If they play to the level of they did in their last two games of the 6N, then the AB's could be in for a hell of a fight. I would love if Ireland cause an upset and get a win but am not feeling confident right now for my country. Just feel we are a bit predictable now and seem to be losing the mot important battle of the breakdown for all the big games. Scrum is not looking great either and god only knows how the line-out will function. On top of that we have a raging Boks team who delight in taunting us and letting us know how much they want to beat the crap pout of us. Yeah. Not feeling too confident at all. Aussies and France to win the other two games but ARG could pull off an upset maybe.

The speed of the Japanese xv was incredible. I knew the game was more of a running game up there but man those guys were lightning and great at finding defensive gaps. It’s a strength they need to continue leaning into.

I'm happy with Rassie's squad, its what I was hoping for. Pick the best and expirienced for Ireland and All Blacks to prove they are the best then mix around with the other tests. I would be happy if we win the 4 tests with Ireland and ABs, thst to me is a successul season.. The rest of the other tests dont really matter. No disrespect! I see that Klipdrift

What I like about this is it seems, eng are going in with a nice naivety, back in the day 2002/03 it was on the cards and it happened. We have spoiled a few all black parties, so it can be done, but suspect we will come out the wrong side of this, but won't matter long term.

I found when i watched the aussies, Hopper 7 was always in the shot. He was always "with you!!" Absolute : Hall of Famer.

NZ vs Eng 2014 was 3-0 but the 1st two games were agonisingly close (for us English). We lost, thats it we lost, but it was close, really close!! All England all black games tend to be like that historically, with the ABs taking the vast majority of wins

Interesting that a lot of people think England can win, the series, should be close games but I believe they will lose both, Ireland, South Africa is a tough one , SA should do it, but it would be toughest game of all the Southern Hemisphere teams, Australia should beat Wales, Wales been really poor , Argentina, would lose against France, but I might be wrong on all accounts. If South Africa play the way they can, then Ireland at their best will still not be good enough, but SA need to be at their best 😀

I've never understood why England & New Zealand play each other so infrequently. 3 matches in the last 10 years is weird.

Ive been to 3 All Blacks games 1st was against England in Hamilton 2014 2nd was at Eden Park in 2018 against Australia and 3rd was Argentina in 2022 in Hamilton and it rained

The bookies estimates for NZ vs England are way too generous to NZ. NZ and Eng games have almost always been close at the best of times. I have high hopes for Razor but he's under a lot of pressure playing against England in his first two games. I wouldn't be surprised if the result was 1-1.

NZ has problems in key positions - at half back Roigard and Hotham are clearly the future and one is injured and one is still to raw. First five is the same - we are still looking for the next decent one there. Fullback is also a problem, with Jordan turning into a full-blown hanger queen. Lock isn't so bad but again the future seems to be the likes of Darry and Strange both of whom are deemed not ready yet.

For SA v IRE - the safe bet is SA. But realistically there's no way to predict the AB v ENG game. We just haven't seen this AB outfit play under Razor. AB may have got to the finals in the WRC, but if we're realistic SA only beat the other teams by a point so it really could have been different. ENG are starting to look tasty ATM so I don't understand how some people are saying with such certainty AB have an easy 2-0.

Excellent matchups! I'm sure the Boks will at last get a win against the Irish, but two wins? With home advantage, yes, perhaps they will. With New Zealand not having played as a team since RWC, with a few stalwarts now missing and with a new coach, I think their chances of a series win are not too good. England is now a formidable team and having played the full 6 Nations and Japan since RWC, I just feel that they may be the more settled team. Shared series, methinks. Joe Schmidt is no pumpkin and with Wales probably still at the bottom of their current cycle, I believe the Aussies will get a 2-0 series win. I find it difficult to decide between Los Pumas and Les Bleus, so I just have to go for a split series. Fantastic rugga awaiting us all! Enjoy chaps ... and may the best sides win! Tony's Irish accent is indeed stage Irish but we'll forgive him, he seems to have got the other traits spot on mind. I think it takes "foreigners" a while to get the Irish sense of humour. Especially yanks. We wind up (slag) people a lot here, and the more we like them the more we slag them off. Yanks think that we are being mean, but that's just because they are thick. Looking forward to the NZ v. England game, the Ireland v. SA game and the Wales v. Australia game. I think all of these could go either way. Regarding the Irish/South Africa off-field animosity, its mostly media driven. However, they are quite easy to dislike. All of the SA pre-match URC final interviews I saw last year, were predicting a Stormers by 30 point win. They hadn't a clue so it was sweet when Munster gave them a lesson in Rugby. Ireland has whopped their butts the last 3 times that we played them and I expect more of the same in this tour.

Not a 100 % sure how the world cup in the US will be received. It could go either way. A world cup in Oz . If the Wallabies can beat the British Lions in 2025 , that will determine if Austalians will even care. Should the Springboks win a 5th world cup world rugby should consider rewarding South Africa with a world cup in 2035 which will mark 40 years since 1995. Lets see who is good enough to beat the Springboks in a world cup taking place in their own back yard. We won't know unless South Africa is given the chance.

Firstly Micheal Hooper was as good any on the planet in his prime. 8/10 minimum. Secondly I'm unsure why England are being touted and talked up so much by the media. Our Front row is seriously lacking in depth and I am expecting us to get monstered in the scrum. Our back row looks decent and Chandler Cunningham Smith is a serious prospect. England fan here slightly confused by the optimism for these tests being given to us by many in the media. Barring one good performance in the six nations, England have been poor for a while, not seeming to have an identity about our play. NZ came off a WC final they honestly deserved to win, and now have probably the most sought after coach in the world with NZ's typically amazing squad depth to call upon. Expecting two comfortable NZ wins, sadly.
